A gifted Canadian musician, SOFGA's founder is an multi-instrumentalist whose playing draws accolades from peers and critics alike. His latest acoustic guitar CD showcases his considerable talent both as solo performer and composer.
He weaves many influences into a unique and dynamic style: from Celtic to Blues and Country, to elements of Jazz, Folk and Classical. This hybrid of musical styles is particularly well suited to folk festivals, house concerts and intimate concert settings.
A graduate of the music program at Hamilton’s Mohawk College, he works full time in the music field as a music teacher, composer and performer. He is also the founder and director of both the Southern Ontario Fingerstyle Guitar Association www.sofga.com.
He has played concerts with such well known artists as: Peter Finger, Andrew White, Bob Evans, Kelly Joe Phelps, Big Sugar ,The Irish Descendents and in his younger days- Anthrax.
